Reporting & alerting

Know where you stand, every month.

Security you can’t see is hard to trust. Guardian’s monthly report shows, in plain English, what was stopped, what’s still exposed and what needs your decision, and we alert you straight away when something needs your attention.

See Guardian plans

Example report

Plain English, not a data dump.

Page one tells you whether you need to do anything. Each area is marked Healthy, Being fixed or Needs you, with last month alongside so you can see the direction of travel.

Email domain protection

Criminals often send emails pretending to be your business, usually fake invoices or payment changes. Your report shows how many emails were sent using your domain, how many passed authentication, which services sent them and how many impersonation attempts were blocked. If one of your own services is failing checks, we tell you so it can be fixed before emails go missing.

Names kept apart

The summary and the detail count people and devices without naming them. The names behind each action are kept apart for your nominated contact, so you can share the rest of the report with your insurer or auditor without them.

Alerts between reports

You don’t wait for the report to hear about something important. When we act on an incident or need a decision, we contact you straight away.

What we need from you2

  1. Is “Mailstream” yours? It sent 31 emails as you, isn’t approved, so they failed the checks. Reply “approve” or “block”.
  2. Two people clicked our practice phishing email. No harm done. Unless you tell us otherwise, we’ll enrol them in a 10-minute refresher.

What we’re doing3

  1. Upgrading two laptops before their version of Windows loses support on 13 October.
  2. Installing 3 critical updates on two laptops, the next time they’re switched on.
  3. Fixing email signing on your second domain by 9 October.
